School in July

I was never a fan of Christmas in July.

I am also not a fan of school in July.

Nevertheless, that is where we went and what we did.

Olivia is a fourth grader.

Her teacher is Mrs. Cooper, but Mrs. Cooper is on maternity leave until August 28, so her sub is Miss Snelson.  Yes, Snelson, Nelson with an S.  I say, if the teacher doesn't have to go to school until the end of August, the kids shouldn't have to be there either.

Gosh, it seems like we were just barely at school, saying goodbye to third grade.  Oh, wait, we WERE just there, two weeks ago.

It's not right.  It's just not right.
