All I know about that day is what I have been told: that my mother ate at the Farmer's Daughter the night before I was born, then went into labor not long after that. She was in labor ALL NIGHT LONG, and I was born at 12:46 pm the next afternoon. Upon my arrival, the doctor announced, "It's a girl and she's a tiger!"
Most days I do not feel llike a tiger. I frequently feel like a pack mule. Some days I feel like a slug. Maybe my goal for this next year of my life should be to feel more tiger-like. Rawr.
